New Web Strategy

Today's the day!

After a great deal of thought over the last year or so, the new web strategy effectively goes live today. We're going to the CBI conference next Monday. We've used this event as a pivotal date to have the framework of the web strategy in place and working.

At the heart of our strategy is the principle that web site development is a process not a project. We have created a framework for continuing development over the coming years.

Objectives

  1. Enable people to find out who we are and what we do
  2. Provide resources and links for our clients, friends and contacts
  3. Develop a process of lead generation for new business
  4. Give us the opportunity to learn as we write and publish
  5. Engage and add value to web based conversations
  6. Support a growing community of business development coaches

Related Blogs

In addition to this web site, we have set up four related blogs:

The idea is that each of the business blogs focuses on one key aspect of the work that we do with clients.

Our key emphasis is leadership coaching. Over the last 25 years, Peter Button has become an experienced and effective leadership coach. The majority of his work with clients in recent years has been focused on establishing the supporting processes and culture of business development coaching:

  • Senior leaders and managers coaching members of their team
  • Sales managers coaching the sales team
  • Sales people coaching customers

Personal Blog

In this web strategy, what led to the decision to link Peter Button's blog so clearly to the Real World Strategy business blogs?

Simply that most of Real World Strategy's programmes are led by Peter and the conclusion is that clients will want to know who Peter is as a person.

Your Observations

So, the framework of web site and blogs is in place. We're really looking forward to seeing what emerges!

It would be great to hear your observations in comments to this post.
